The RBBA annually participates in this collaborative effort between the City of Rochester, the New York State Unified Court System, WDKX 103.9 FM and the Rochester City School which encourages youth curiosity and engagement with our local court system.
Each year, the RBBA honors Dr. King by engaging in a membership-wide effort to support a local cause that aligns with Dr. King's legacy.
Last year, we supported the Crisis Nursery of Greater Rochester – the only program of its kind in the Greater Rochester region – which delivers free, temporary childcare during family emergencies, including (but not limited to): medical emergencies, unexpected illness, accidents, unemployment, mental health episodes, unexpected death, domestic violence, homelessness, legal issues, unstable/unsafe housing.
