Rochester Black Bar Association Foundation, Inc.
In 2014, RBBA expanded its commitment to promote education and scholarship in the field of law by establishing the Rochester Black Bar Association Foundation, Inc., a not-for-profit organization designed to provide financial assistance to underprivileged individuals interested in pursuing a legal career. The Foundation is committed to ensuring continued minority representation in the legal community, and empowering individuals to shape the legal landscape within Rochester, Monroe County and throughout the country. The Foundation supports the following:
1. RBBA Clyde E. Bailey, Sr. Scholarship
2. RBBA LSAT Scholarship
3. RBBA Founders’ Scholarship
4. Rochester Legal Diversity Clerkship Program
5. Paul E. Richardson Endowment Fund - Created in 2014 in conjunction with Volunteer Legal Services Project (VLSP) to support an ethnic minority law student intern at VLSP who is interested in pursuing a civil legal services litigation practice to further the goal of access to justice for all.
